How does our Caregiver Support Group differ from others?
We support whatever decision you feel best meets your loved one's needs. More than just peer support, we offer the help of professionals.Â
You will meet with a behavior specialist and mental health counselor who has day to day experience caring for those living with dementia.
What is Memory Café? The gathering place for friends with Alzheimer’s (or other dementias) along with their caregivers and families to relax and enjoy socialization, refreshments, discussion and entertainment.
What You Can Expect: • Social Contact with Others having a Similar Experience • Peer Support • Free Valuable Information, Education and Support • An Informal, Relaxed & Stigma-Free Environment
What NOT to Expect: • Formal Care Service • Clinical Assessments • Personal Care • Fee for Service
The friendships and joy that resonate from these support groups bring light and life to both the persons with dementia and also to their care partners.

"Hats off to the staff and committee of Memory Garden who worked so diligently to accomplish the beautiful and romantic Valentine's Day dinner shared with our loved ones. It certainly provided a wonderful time for Ethel and I to share the present and recall the past. Again, thank you. May the dear Lord bless you for your kindness and thoughtfulness."
